The Garraway lab studies the cellular and neural mechanisms underlying pain and other pathophysiology after spinal cord injury. The position requires someone who is comfortable working with rodents (handling and surgery). Experience in some molecular biological techniques (such as western blots, real time PCR, immunohistochemistry and ELISA), cell culture or electrophysiology is a plus. Also, a neuroscience background is desirable.
