The individual to be hired into the Assistant Scientist position will need to be able to design their own experiments, conduct all phases of the experiments that include patch clamp electrophysiological recordings, conduct analysis, as well as be familiar with mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology, two electrode voltage clamp recording, and basic lab work. The applicant will also help train individuals new to the lab in methods, and needs experience working with students and others.
NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
