The Enforcement Officer works with a service oriented demeanor, patrols campus and ensures vehicles are parking in compliance with campus parking rules and regulations.



  • Interprets regulations and makes decisions about parking violations.
  • Writes citations using computerized system.
  • Educates campus community and visitors on rules and regulations.
  • Assists visitors with information on campus locations.
  • Provides support to University events, including traffic coordination and transportation.
  • Observes, analyzes, and reports the need for directions and regulatory signage.
  • Aids motorists in need of assistance.
  • Observes, detects, and reports suspicious activity.
  • Provides written reports as necessary.
  • Provides back up coverage for dispatch.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in parking or customer service.
  • Positions within this classification require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
  • Positions within this classification are required to lift up to 50 lbs and bend, stoop, and twist.


  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Expereince to provide directions and information, as needed.

NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
