SUMMARY:
The Logistician manages the life cycle from purchase to delivery at Overseas Offices. Serves as subject matter expert for supply chain. Ensures compliance with all export regulations. Analyzes and develops supply chain processes and continues to look for streamlining operations. In close consultation with the programs and country offices, liaises with the Programs to procure materials and supplies and ensure timely delivery at overseas offices. Reports to the Supervisor, Contracts and Procurement and may provide additional support to other OO projects as needed. Due to travel requirements, Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) may be required.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to The Carter Center on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines. The Carter Center reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
