This position plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, the Candler community, and other parties through various tasks, including developing, managing, and maintaining the admission office’s database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is readily accessible, generating reports, utilizing the database to extract valuable insights and information for decision-making purposes.
Furthermore, this position will lead in instructing Candler personnel on the effective use of Slate, a higher education CRM. This position holder will be expected to utilize their expertise in Slate to provide vital support in ensuring that personnel can navigate the system efficiently, input data accurately, and use its features to streamline their workflow.
Beyond Slate management and instruction, this role will also contribute to the smooth operation of the admissions office by assisting in various activities. This may include organizing events, coordinating admissions-related communications, supporting applicant interviews or visits, and collaborating with other departments or external partners as necessary.
