JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for the daily recruitment function for the CPD Recruiting Program, managing employer relationships and recruitment— on-campus interviews, information sessions, event coordination, job postings, event marketing, etc.
- Meets with employers to develop and strengthen on-campus recruiting relationships, strategizing future opportunities, and finding ways to increase student engagement and employer brand awareness.
- Supports the strategic planning and promotion of the CPD Corporate Sponsors Program to expand and diversify employer outreach, as well as provide additional resources for student career readiness.
- Collaborates with CPD staff, university partners, and employers to prepare and present career readiness programs.
- Prepares content and coaches students on interview preparation and techniques for success.
- Reviews and resolves employer and student concerns associated with the recruiting program.
Maintains student job & internships portal, Handshake, approving jobs, events, and interview schedules. - Assists with management of the Recruiting Program Email Inbox, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Works with CPD Technology staff to update Recruiting Program website content.
Oversees the survey of employers and students; summarizes and analyzes the results. - Represents CPD at professional organization events and conferences.
Contributes to the development of on-campus recruiting policies and procedures. - Develops student and CPD training materials, conducting training on the use of various systems.
- May act on behalf of the Director of Recruiting & Employer Development.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree and two years of higher education and/or business and industry recruiting experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- A master’s degree and five years of professional experience with at least 1 year working in campus recruiting for a corporation or at least 1 year working in higher education recruiting/career services.
NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
