The Bosinger Laboratory at the Emory National Primate Research Center and Emory Vaccine Center are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team as a Lead Research Specialist. Our multidisciplinary team is conducting fast-paced research into vaccines and pathogenesis of HIV and SARS-CoV-2 using an array of cutting-edge immunology and next generation sequencing technologies. The successful candidate will already have experience with basic laboratory skills and will receive training in a broad array of techniques such as the preparation of NGS libraries, single cell sequencing via droplet capture on the 10X Genomics platform, and flow cytometry. Prior educational background in biology, immunology or molecular biology is required and previous lab experience, particularly in molecular biology or NGS techniques, would be a plus.
