The Director is responsible for the development and management of the Center for Vaccine Equity (CVE) and provides leadership, technical expertise, and oversight in the areas of strategic program development, financial management, and collaboration with external partners such as WHO, CDC, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and USAID. The CVE Director also has a special responsibility to provide technical expertise in in support of Respiratory Virus Prevention & Pandemic Preparedness programs within CVE. This position reports to the CEO of the Task Force for Global Health and is located at the Task Force for Global Health in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The Task Force for Global Health, founded 40 years ago to advance health equity, works with partners in more than 150 countries to eliminate diseases, ensure access to vaccines and essential medicines, and strengthen health systems to protect populations. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Director is responsible for the overall success of the Center for Vaccine Equity (CVE) program by providing leadership, technical expertise, and oversight in the areas of strategic program development, financial management, and collaboration with external funders and partners including CDC, WHO, Global Fund, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The Director also serves as a technical expert in support of Respiratory Virus Prevention & Pandemic Preparedness (RVPP) programs. These programs include the Partnership for International Vaccine Initiatives (PIVI), COVID-19 Vaccination Implementation Program (CoVIP), Strengthening Outbreak Notification and Response (SONAR), and the Global Funders Consortium for Universal Influenza Vaccine Development.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.
