Description

  • Post Grad Fellow will act as research fellow for sports medicine division.
  • Prepare, submit, and edit IRB applications. Collect and analyze data for IRB-approved studies.
  • Explore the neural and biomechanical mechanisms behind sport-related injuries.
  • Use tools such as 3D motion capture and virtual reality to measure athletes¿ biomechanics and power while they complete sport-specific tasks.
  • Work closely with orthopedic surgeons to collect, manage, and analyze their clinical data.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical and research staff.
  • Construct and manage patient survey. Conduct research-related patient outreach.
  • Serve as a key member of the ACL reconstruction projects.
  • Support all aspects of data collection, data analysis, and manuscript development of ACL reconstruction projects.
  • Draft, revise, and submit manuscripts and abstracts for studies within the sports medicine division.
  • Fellow develops technical skills in the clinical research area and uses critical thinking to address scientific research questions that may affect clinical practice in orthopedics.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors degree in a scientific field OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
