The School of Nursing is seeking a part-time research coordinator who is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion as a foundation of their work on this project, which is focused on improving pregnancy health and birth outcomes in pregnant people of color. This research coordinator must be comfortable working with the patients, midwives, and staff at the out-of-hospital birthing center where recruitment will take place. We would especially appreciate candidates with experience in health care settings, including skills in phlebotomy and body composition measurement. We would also be especially interested in candidates who have experience working with community-based organizations to improve disparities.
The Clinical Research Coordinator handles or assists with the administrative activities generally associated with the conduct of clinical trials.

This position is intended to support clinical research and all clinical training requirements must be tracked and monitored through Emory Healthcare under the credentialing category of Clinical Researcher.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
