The School of Nursing is seeking a Project Coordinator to work with Dr. Trisha Sheridan (PI). The Southeastern Alliance for Forensic Excellence Network (SAFE Network) is a HRSA grant funded project that will increase the supply, distribution, and quality of the sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) workforce and provide access to trauma informed best practice care for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The project aims to foster an environment that supports SANE training, practice, and retention by delivering a comprehensive participant support program addressing structural and systemic barriers to examiner training and practice to promote training participation, completion of practice hours and long-term retention in SANE practice through technical assistance, goal planning, mentorship, counseling, continuing education, peer review, and peer support. In addition, the SAFE Network will minimize barriers through partnerships and enhance multidisciplinary team support, assistance, goal planning, mentorship, counseling, continuing education, peer review, and peer support.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
