Our focus is the discovery and development of novel therapeutic agents. The drugs, generated by the LRG over several decades, include therapies for HIV, hepatitis B (HBV), cancer and neurological disorders, to name a few. In addition to our ongoing programs in antivirals and prodrug platform technologies, our current efforts include designing and developing novel non-opioid analgesics, anti-anxiolytics, NMDA receptor modulators, chemotherapeutics and immuno-oncology agents.
