Description

  • Supports one or more program within Transportation and Parking Services (TPS): transportation, parking, or fleet programs.
  • Serves departmental customers to identify appropriate permit, commute alternative program, or fleet product or service needs.
  • Answers inquiries from faculty, staff, students, healthcare, and visitors.
  • May participate in promotional activities for transportation, parking and fleet programs to the Emory community.
  • Communicates with customers to resolve parking, transportation, or fleet problems or issues.
  • Uses TPS systems and customer relations management system, parking management systems, access control systems, transportation systems and related tools to process transactions, review issues, and track customer information.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school degree or equivalent and three years of experience in customer service, fleet, parking, or transportation.
  • Positions within this classification will require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
  • Positions within this classification may be required to have a Commercial Motor Vehicle medical examiner's certificate for operating vehicles with GVWR greater than 10,001 lbs and less than 26,000 lbs (49 CFR Part 391 and Georgia Department of Driver Services regulations).
  • Positions within this classification are required to lift up to 50 lbs and bend, stoop, and twist.

 

NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
