Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifies, contacts, corresponds with and interviews research study participants, either in person, in a clinical setting, at a subject's residence or by telephone to obtain data for an assigned research project.
  • Collects, codes and enters study information into database and may assist in data compilation.
  • Edits completed interview questionnaires for completeness, legibility and accuracy.
  • Obtains missing or questionable data.
  • Maintains complete and accurate records and files pertaining to one or more research studies.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Contact potential participants by phone or email to schedule data collection appointments.
  • Manage data collection supplies (i.e., software, screening and consent forms, incentives).
  • Manage One Drive account for data and study materials.
  • Submit qualitative interview audio files for transcription.
  • Develop REDCAP surveys.
  • Track distribution of participant incentives.
  • Attending regular study meetings.
  • Screen potential participants for study.
  • Obtain verbal and written informed consent from participants.
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative interviews.
  • Conduct interviewer assisted surveys and debriefs as warranted.
  • Record detailed interview notes and self-reflexive notes.
  • Review qualitative transcripts for errors and make corrections.
  • Monitor and clean quantitative survey data.
  • Codebook development and coding.
  • Opportunities for mixed methods data analysis and publication.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of administrative support, customer service or other relevant experience.
  • Data entry experience.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.  Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
