JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assists in the daily duties of the Health Professions Readiness Education Program (HealthPREP) within the Office Multicultural Affairs (OMA) during the in-person programming. Leads the administrative duties related to HealthPREP, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring key program components. Can represent the OMA at HealthPREP seminars, workshops, and related events. Ensures required records and documentation are obtained and maintained. Performs related responsibilities as required. This is a temporary, part-time position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Program/project management and/or office administration experience. Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program(s) and one year of related experience to student/administrative support, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. Effective organizational and communication skills. A high level of professionalism. The candidate must be committed to working with diverse student populations, including those coming from first generation and/or low-income backgrounds.
Be available during business hours from Monday-Friday for in-person or virtual administrative support as needed during the duration of HealthPREP (June 23rd - July 14th, 2025). Some evening and/or weekend work may be required (ex. June 28th and July 12th). Successful candidate must reside in Atlanta, Georgia and cover their own transportation (ex. parking) when needed for in-person events. This position will require being able to carry/lift weight up to 10 pounds.

BASIC FUNCTION
The Administrator Support personnel of Multicultural Affairs reports to the Assistant Director of OMA who manages the Health Professions Readiness Education Program (HealthPREP). The individual in the Administrator Support role will be responsible for administrative support duties for HealthPREP. The individual must be comfortable collaborating and communicating with supervisors, students, and overall staff in a positive manner.

This work will be accomplished independently or in collaboration with OMA colleagues as well as SOM and university colleagues. Specifically, the individual in the Administrator Support role for HealthPREP is responsible for the following areas:
