Emory Law seeks an innovative and collaborative person to support the work of the Dean’s Office by providing direct support to the faculty administrative team as well as bringing together and leading its Events team and its established team in Program and Academic Support Services. The Events and Faculty Services Manager will work strategically and operationally with the events team to manage the planning, development and delivery of events. The position also provides oversight to the day-to-day operations of faculty services. Additionally, the position has responsibility for working at the direction of the Chief of Staff to provide support to the law school faculty administration. The successful candidate will be a results-driven, dynamic team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, operational and supervising management skills, and have the ability to interact well with a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff. The successful candidate will enjoy working in an often fast-paced environment, in a role that calls for both considerable self-directed initiative and a service-centric approach to getting the job done. In addition, they will have warmth and approachability, solid judgment and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to plan, meet deadlines, and multitask. Some evening and occasional weekend work will be required.
