Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As part of the Emory Digital Training Academy, this position manages relationships with project stakeholders, internal and external customers, and vendors.
  • Works with C-Level and administrative team with ease.
  • Manages, from a client business perspective, related and multiple training and readiness projects.
  • Coordinates the development of training and readiness plans and strategies in support of departmental objectives and the overall organizational mission and objectives.
  • Works closely with clients to foster the development and successful implementation of innovative, high quality business solutions and ensure a high level of satisfaction with services provided.
  • Manages multiple training, readiness and change management projects to assure that business objectives and requirements are realized.
  • Manages projects to assure that business objectives and requirements are realized.
  • Attends meetings of professional, civic and services organizations.
  • Administers and ensures compliance to departmental policies and procedures in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
  • Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development.
  • Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree, and ten years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing training, readiness, and change management solutions as it relates to teammates' adoption and effective use of healthcare IT technology and EMR, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

  • Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks.
  • Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste
  • Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required.
  • Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

NOTE: Tasks related to this position can be performed remotely with only occasional visits to an Emory University location.  Eastern (EST) time zone business hours may apply.  Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
