Description

As part of our patient-centered care initiative, this role will play a key role in supporting older adult patients by providing feedback on a Shared Decision-Making (SDM) Tool. This opportunity involves direct interaction with patients following their clinical visits.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist older adult patients in completing a post-administration survey after using the Shared Decision-Making Tool with their physician.
  • Ensure patients understand the purpose of the survey and provide guidance through the survey questions as needed, while maintaining a respectful and supportive approach.
  • Maintain accurate records of all completed surveys, including logging and reporting the total number of submissions for tracking and evaluation purposes.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely follow-up with patients and smooth integration into the clinical workflow.
  • Adhere to patient confidentiality and privacy standards at all times.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a science-related field. 

NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
