Description

The Division of Advancement and Alumni Engagement utilizes resources, technology, and business for the purpose of constituent engagement, donor research and solicitation, and stewardship throughout Emory University and Health Systems. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director, Pipeline Optimization.

 

The Pipeline Optimization team supports the Advancement and Alumni Engagement division by identifying major funders for university initiatives, providing research, overseeing portfolio management, and proposal management. This position will report to the Director of Pipeline Optimization and support prospecting and portfolio management efforts for Emory Healthcare patient prospects and the Woodruff Health Sciences team.

 

This position serves as team liaison to a defined group of development officers and leads strategic portfolio review meetings, including quantitative and qualitative analysis of prospect portfolios while ensuring portfolios are filled according to portfolio management guidelines with the most appropriate prospects. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares data and reports for regularly scheduled portfolio review meetings with development officers. Leads the review and approval process, in partnership with relationship managers, for removing prospects from portfolios.
  • Partners with Prospect Analytics team and other Pipeline Optimization team members to identify and assign potential Emory Healthcare patient prospects to portfolios, participate in regular portfolio updates, and provide ad-hoc reporting.
  • Synthesizes and analyzes prospect data, conducts and reviews audits, and monitors data integrity for the purpose of improving the quality of the prospect specific data.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS: In addition to the duties outlined above, the Assistant Director may be required to:

  • Prepare and lead quarterly portfolio review meetings for assigned mid-level development officers.
  • Manage prospect lead queues and team requests in the CRM, distributing requests to appropriate team members, and assisting with prospect assignments and removals in the CRM.
  • Track and provide reports on defined KPIs and standards to ensure data quality and task completion in a timely manner.
  • Assist with patient prospect data organization, storage, and retrieval across multiple platforms while maintaining defined HIPAA standards, including developing queries and preparing data for analysis.
  • Serve as a resource to fundraising staff and answering questions regarding prospect tracking and portfolio analysis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in non-profit, advancement, alumni engagement, pipeline optimization, or prospect management OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with healthcare terminology or settings.
  • Experience working with various technologies, including knowledge and experience with project management software, data analysis tools, and CRM systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, the ability to work with ambiguity, and navigate a complex work environment.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess a high level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Experience working independently as well as collaboratively to achieve goals, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
