You will represent Georgia’s most comprehensive health system that cares for patients making more than 6 million visits to Emory each year and that encompasses 11 hospitals, more than 490 outpatient provider locations, and the largest clinically integrated network in the state, with more than 3,450 physicians concentrating in 70 different subspecialties.

  • Work well on a team
  • Have outstanding negotiation and verbal and written communication skills
  • Display high levels of emotional intelligence, including kindness, empathy, optimism, and self-awareness
  • Approach work with a commitment to excellence, intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and integrity
  • Have excellent judgment, client counseling, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills
  • Have a license to practice law in a U.S. state, and excellent academic credentials
  • Have a minimum of five years of legal experience in the employment counseling and litigation field
  • Preferably have in-house experience providing employment legal services
  • Bonus points if your in-house experience includes a university environment
  • More bonus points if you also have labor relations experience
  • A sense of humor also is valued!

Where will I work?

Two days a week (more or less, as needed), our Atlanta area team members collaborate in-person in the Administration building on Emory’s “quad”.  Ideally, the successful candidate will join us at Emory’s Atlanta location on these collaboration days.
