Description

The Senior Director of Clinical Operations for the Emory Health Plan (EHP) will partner with the Emory Population Health Collaborative leader and CM leaders to design and execute CM programs that will drive down the overall cost of care.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role will work closely with the Data Analytics & Finance team to understand cost drivers and use those insights to shape new programs and continuously refine those programs.
  • The Senior Director of Clinical Operations will collaborate closely with the Emory Population Health Collaborative leader and CM leaders to design and execute CM programs.
  • They will also work with the Data Analytics & Finance team to understand cost drivers and shape new programs.
  • Additionally, they will partner with the clinical operations team to develop physician education and coaching about VBC vision.
  • Lead the design and execution of care management programs tailored to the EHP member population.
  • Partner with the Emory Population Health Collaborative to develop and implement clinical programs.
  • Analyze claims data to understand long-term targets for optimizing cost of care, quality, and health outcomes.
  • Develop physician education and coaching about VBC vision, ultimate goals, and alignment of incentives.
  • Evaluate provider performance within the EHP network and identify areas of waste.
  • Manage the budget and financial performance of clinical operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, or related field; MBA or advanced clinical degree preferred.
  • Ten years of experience in clinical operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of care management, population health, and value-based care models.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
