This position is a part of Emory’s Prevention Epicenter (PEACH) research program. The PEACH II program is a CDC-funded initiative addressing healthcare-associated infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) across the healthcare delivery spectrum. This research program includes a portfolio of research that can influence or change standard practices and fill gaps in current infection prevention guidance. Projects advance transdisciplinary research incorporating human factors engineering, microbiome therapeutics, environmental microbiology, and bioinformatics.
The Clinical Research Coordinator II handles administrative activities generally associated with the conduct of clinical trials. This position will provide essential support for two clinical trials investigating the use of Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) as a novel biotherapeutic to prevent infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs). The trials are being conducted at Emory University Hospital, Emory LTACH, and several nursing homes in the Atlanta area. The Clinical Research Coordinator will work under the supervision of the study coordinators and will assist with day-to-day study operations.

This position is intended to support clinical research and all clinical training requirements must be tracked and monitored through Emory Healthcare under the credentialing category of Clinical Researcher.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
