Description

The Goizueta Business School is in search of a Senior Director of Data Strategy who will play a pivotal role in advancing the school's data-driven strategy, leading a team to deliver high-impact insights across revenue management and marketing optimization.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex analyses of enrollment, tuition, and program performance data, as well as optimizing marketing campaigns to drive student recruitment and retention. With a focus on translating rigorous quantitative insights into actionable strategies, the Sr. Director of Data Strategy will report directly to the dean and partner closely with senior leadership to ensure the school's financial sustainability, competitive positioning, and long-term growth Partners with units across the school (e.g., Marketing, Admissions, Operations) to solve high impact problems, build decisions tools, and generate insights through rigorous analysis.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and enforces policies for effective data management, formulates management techniques for quality data collection, and devising efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis to drive measurable outcomes and foster a culture of evidence-based decision making across the operations of the school.
  • Frames business questions, guides teams in building analytical solutions, and effectively translated data into strategic recommendations.
  • Provides management and guidance on data standards, and stay abreast of data-related developments.
  • Develops, implements, and directs a comprehensive data strategy program for a top ranked business school within a complex university.
  • Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff and accountable for delivering results within budget.
  • Oversees complex analyses of enrollment, tuition, and program performance data.
  • Optimizes marketing campaigns to drive student recruitment and retention.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in analytics, qualitative methodologies, business, higher education AND eight years in data collection, financial analysis, research analytics OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Doctoral degree preferred.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
