The Bou-Nader lab is seeking a research specialist to support our structural biochemical work on RNA-binding proteins. The successful candidate will be in charge of over-expressing and purifying recombinant proteins from E Coli and performing mutagenesis to generate protein variants found in the clinic. These samples will then be used for biochemical assays to understand the functional consequences of these variants. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to learn advanced biochemistry and structural biology methods.
