Description

The Executive Recruiting Consultant is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier executive talent to meet the organization's strategic leadership needs. This role partners closely with senior leadership and HR teams to develop and execute executive search strategies, ensuring highly qualified candidate pipeline.

 

  • Develops sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates. Utilizes market intelligence, networking, and research to identify top talent.
  • Manages full life cycle process including candidate sourcing, screening, managing the assessment process, negotiations and onboarding of executive hires.
  • Partners with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand role requirements, responsibilities and competencies.
  • Provides consultative guidance on market trends, compensation, benchmarks and organizational goals.
  • Composes employment advertisements and contacts appropriate advertising sources. Promotes organization's brand and value proposition.
  • Drives select strategic operational duties which may include vendor management, reporting, recruiting tools selection and evaluation, and other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures that recruitment processes, policies, and the applicant tracking system technology are efficient and effective.
  • Oversees pre-employment processing including reference checking, criminal background screening, employment and education checks and health assessments (as needed) to ensure university standards are met.
  • Escalates adjudications as necessary.
  • Maintains required records and documentation to ensure OFCCP and DOL EEO compliance.
  • May train and mentor other team members.
  • Advises HR business partners of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field and five years of employment experience within an executive search agency or an in-house human resources executive recruiting function, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Advanced degree and applicable certifications a plus.
  • Knowledge of recruiting research and sourcing strategies and tools.
  • Proficiencies with applicant tracking system (ATS) and manipulate in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills. Direct supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Note: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as needed and at times, on short notice. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
