Winship is seeking qualified candidates for the Manager Research Informatics & Business Analyst position. Position details are as follows:

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Leads the efforts to ensure systems support and advance the objectives of Winship Cancer Institute.
  • Manages a team of Business Analysts and other staff that work directly with researchers to document, analyze and translate their needs into technical designs.
  • Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and manages the requirements development process.
  • Utilizes broad IT knowledge, business knowledge, and strong analytical skills to support business analysis for IT solutions which address business needs.
  • Validates that solutions meet business needs, reflect the functionality necessary to address business goals and objectives and traces business requirements through to test plans and cases, reducing time to fix issues and identify anomalies.
  • Ensures that non-functional requirements meet service level agreements, reducing impacts to business effectiveness.
  • Validates requirements with all stakeholders.
  • Complies with and upholds organizational standards.
  • Coaches, trains, and assists less experienced analysts and leads highly complex analytical efforts.
  • Identifies business needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business management, or related field, and eight years of experience in business analysis,
  • OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
