Description

Emory Executive Education at Goizueta Business School seeks a results-driven Director of Executive Education, Open Enrollment to expand the impact of its short-course portfolio. This role combines business development expertise with a strong understanding of adult learning and career-focused skill development to align programs with market needs. The ideal candidate excels at building lasting relationships with Learning & Development leaders and business professionals, understands the value of university-based executive education, communicates effectively, and has a proven track record of engaging and converting prospective learners into program participants.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans and executes the sales generation and lead conversion process for individuals and organizations interested in professional development.
  • Promotes Emory Executive Education's OE courses and certificate programs to drive both B2B2C and B2C opportunities.
  • Meets annual and course-level revenue targets for the OE program offerings.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure campaigns and engagement processes generate qualified sales leads and convert to program participants through appropriate communications.
  • Maintains, updates, and organizes prospect and client records in CRM database.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to cross- and up-sell participants to new engagements with Emory Executive Education, including custom opportunities.
  • Monitors OE course participation and trends to identify opportunities for more comprehensive organizational relationships.
  • Identifies organizational contacts to establish a strong relationship to expand engagement with Emory Executive Education.
  • Actively contributes to identifying and collecting impact stories and metrics for OE.
  • Ensures a clear understanding of individual course design, learning objectives and overall certificate curriculum to clearly and accurately represent the product line to prospects and Learning and Development professionals.
  • Reports efforts and progress toward goals regularly, both to senior leadership and to the team to show ROI and value of marketing and sales efforts.
  • Contributes to Emory Executive Education social media efforts.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Five years of business development, organizational effectiveness, human resources development or related experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in business administration, human resources management or a related field.
  • Business to business consultative sales experience in executive education, and a demonstrated understanding of university-based executive education.
  • Ability to close individual leads generated from marketing efforts into enrolled program participants.
  • Ability to generate new sales leads and convert them into enrolled program participants.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written communication skills) with a variety of levels of managers and executives in a professional, appropriate manner.
  • Ability to leverage social media engagement for sales purposes.
  • Strong presentation skills to conduct professional presentations for individuals and groups of executives and managers.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
