Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manages the daily operational and maintenance activities of the Law School. Provides leadership for management and infrastructure projects, including oversight of all strategic facilities initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with internal protocols, policies, and procedures, and monitors working relationships with Campus Services staff to ensure all Law School facilities and grounds are appropriately maintained.
  • Coordinates and manages small to large scale renovation and construction projects, and maintains departmental budget and productivity targets. 
  • Manages the Law School's safety and facility compliance programs. Accountable for planning and reconciliation of departmental budget.
  • Provides oversight for contract management for on-site security, mail and copy services, and other outsourced services. Manages operational activities related to all Law School events. Performs related responsibilities as required. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Facilities Management. Five years of facilities and budgetary management experience.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
