  • Serves as the functional product owner for Workday procurement and supply chain capabilities and approves the future-state design.
  • Guides design across procure to pay, strategic sourcing, supplier and contract management, inventory and materials, spend analytics, clinical supply, logistics, and item and vendor data.
  • Aligns healthcare clinical and university campus and research requirements, promotes standardized processes, and documents approved differences.
  • Coordinates procure-to-pay scope and design decisions with finance and related technical and data workstreams.
  • Ensures the solution addresses purchasing controls, delegated authority, compliance, security, data integrity, and operational reporting.
  • Leads Supply Chain participation in requirements, configuration reviews, data conversion, testing, cutover, deployment readiness, and stabilization.
  • Coordinates with other functional and technical leads, change management, Workday, consultants, suppliers, and Supply Chain stakeholders to support adoption and ongoing operations.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, or a related field and ten years of progressively responsible supply chain, procurement, or transformation experience, including experience leading complex teams or workstreams.
  • Master's degree and CPSM, C.P.M., or comparable professional credential preferred.
  • Broad expertise in sourcing, procurement, contracting, supplier management, inventory, logistics, analytics, and item or vendor data.
  • Experience delivering a large-scale Supply Chain transformation or enterprise cloud ERP system; direct Workday experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, resolve competing priorities, make cross-entity decisions, and communicate complex operational and system topics clearly.
  • Experience in healthcare, higher education, academic medicine, or another complex multi-entity environment preferred.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
