    JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary duties are organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of a program and its related activities which include, but are not limited to the following: establishing long-term operational objectives, researching factors that may impact the success of the program, and working with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements in order to provide appropriate input into the development of strategic plans. Develops work plans to accomplish program goals and objectives and monitors progress toward their achievement. Conducts research and gathers information to develop various publications. Develops promotional materials which may include content for reports, briefings, newsletters, grants or other written information related to the program. Assists in developing and coordinating program-related conferences, conventions, or meetings. Monitors expenditures and may participate in the budget planning process and prepare financial reports. May assist in identifying funding resources and developing fund-raising strategies and initiatives. Prepares operational and statistical reports. Conducts training, represents the program at meetings and conferences, and networks with affiliated groups. May supervise assigned project staff, interns and/or volunteers. Performs related responsibilities as required. This is not an administrative support position.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    Additonal Details

    Organizes, coordinates, and plans operational work of the Undergraduate programs and its related activities which include, but are not limited to the following: 1) program representative responsible for customer (student, faculty, administration, community partners, etc.) interface and satisfaction., 2) assessing and addressing factors that  influence successful outcomes of the Undergraduate programs, 3) assisting with development of strategic planning and competitive edge, and 4) ensuring program documentation is maintained to support continued accreditation of programs.  This position reports to the Associate Director of Academic Programs and provides weekly program operations and outcomes updates.

     

    Additional duties include:

    • Facilitate, attend, and lead Undergraduate program monthly meetings and Undergraduate Track Coordinator meetings, including preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and minutes.
    • Provide program-related administrative support to the BSN, ABSN, and AMSN Track Coordinators including (but not limited to): student communications, document preparation, and various data tracking.
    • Create and distribute promotional materials for the Undergraduate programs.
    • Distribute program updates and news to Undergraduate students and faculty via listservs and social networking page(s).
    • Research and notify Undergraduate students about scholarship and funding opportunities throughout the school year.
    • Update Undergraduate program files, student tracking systems and other platforms on a regular basis.
    • Process Undergraduate program conference and travel requests.
    • Continuously monitor competing Undergraduate programs and provide input on program efficiencies.
    • Collaborate with other programs throughout the School of Nursing and affiliated institutions.
    • Responsible for organizing and providing support for on-campus events which may occur outside of normal business hours.
    • Assist Undergraduate students with student needs, including processing requests and forms.
    • Assist with Undergraduate student clinical compliance documentation.
    • Collaborate with Director for Nursing Education and Curriculum and Curriculum Committee to support curriculum and program accreditation.
    • Assist with coordinating and analyzing course evaluations
    • Identify customer (student, faculty, administration, community partners, etc.) issues and resolve and/or escalate to necessary individuals on a continuous basis.
    • Various tasks as assigned
