    JOB DESCRIPTION: Supports program operations and provides administrative support for development and alumni relations staff in a school or unit. Serves as primary liaison to departments within the school or unit as well as central service departments, working to build mutually beneficial relationships, improve communication and collaborative teamwork, and increase campus understanding of development and alumni relations processes. May generate briefings, reports, letters, and other materials for the team. Provides project management support. Collects and routes data for updates CRM system, and ensures gifts and records are processed appropriately. Schedules and coordinates meetings and events on behalf of team. May monitor expenses and budgets. Performs other related duties as required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelors and one year of experience in an office setting, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

    Specific duties include:

    • Provide superior customer relations and support that promotes and develops the relationship between Emory Brain Health Development, donors and faculty
    • Serve as key administrative support for members of the Brain Health Development team
    • Manage travel arrangements for staff in the team, including flight, hotel and auto rental reservations
    • Process team expense reports, reimbursements, and assist with budget tracking and run reports as necessary
    • Maintain proficiency in the use of various university software systems including event registration tool (iModules), the division’s constituent relationship management system (Advance Web Access, AWA), mapping and dashboard database tool (Advizor), space reservation system (25Live), procurement system (Emory Express), extensive use of Microsoft Office suite of tools
    • Maintain donor tracking and RSVP lists for major brain health events including A Family Affair
    • Assist with other team technology needs: serve as support for conference calls, webinars and Skype meetings; develop proficiency in division database system (AWA)
    • Create weekly giving reports
    • Schedule inter-office on campus meetings with colleagues from other fundraising units
    • Support the office in the planning and logistics of the quarterly Brain Health Advisory Board meetings
    • Staff local events in support of logistics as required.
    • Assist with special projects as needed and other responsibilities as assigned

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong Database skills (extensive work with databases and constituent relationship management systems)
    • Strong Written and Verbal Skills combined with keyboarding skills (65 wpm)
    • Event planning experience to aid with meeting preparation
    • Ability to manage multiple calendars
    • Willingness to work flexible hours to staff local events
