  • Description

    Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs, this position leads a team of professionals skilled in the development and communication of superior content and thought leadership that will inspire enterprise audiences through print, digital, earned and social media, advertising, sponsorship, and experiential marketing channels.

    • Helps reach and engage such audiences as employees, faculty, students, alumni, donors, and community representatives.
    • Leads the enterprise content strategy and narrative.
    • Develops and manages an enterprise communication and reputation management team to provide best-in-class social and earned media monitoring function to ensure immediate capture of threats to reputation and enable the evaluation of issues on a real-time basis.
    • Develops an enterprise crisis communication plan.
    • Creates a unit that serves as enterprise research, insights, and data collection, evaluation and reporting function.
    • Responsible for enterprise internal communication. Hires, trains, and evaluates staff.

    Performs other related duties as required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or related field and 10 years of experience with enterprise communications, crisis communications, and issues/reputation management. A master's degree is preferred.
