    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR -

     

    Emory University seeks a motivated, energetic full life-cycle recruiter who is skilled in the use of social media to attract the top talent who will help Emory impact the world around us through innovative and courageous leadership in research, health care, and social action.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO IN YOUR CAREER AS A RECRUITER/SR. RECRUITER AT EMORY UNIVERSITY -

    • Partner with clients to identify and qualify top applicants throughout the employment process.
    • Collaborate with hiring official to define recruitment criteria.
    • Provide full life cycle recruitment efforts for non-faculty job vacancies.
    • Compose employment advertisements and contacts appropriate advertising sources.
    • Determine which applicants are most qualified for specific positions and refers applicants for interviews.
    • Ensure the applicant referral pool has a cross section of diverse candidates; adheres to established equal opportunity and affirmative action goals.
    • Gather job related information from applicants and conducts interviews.
    • Ensure appropriate background screening is administered.
    • Partner with clients to determine appropriate starting salaries for final job candidates.
    • Recruiter level will participate in process improvement efforts by developing long range recruiting strategies, attending recruiting events, developing recruiting materials, and maintaining recruitment contacts to increase the pool of qualified applicants for specific positions.
    • Maintain required records and documentation to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures and applicable regulations. Performs related responsibilities as required.

     

    SENIOR LEVEL SPECIFICS –

    Lead process improvement project efforts by developing long range recruiting strategies, attending recruiting events, developing recruiting materials, and maintaining recruitment contacts to increase the pool of qualified applicants for specific positions.

     

    WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE -

    • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
    • Excellent communication skills are a must.
    • Sr. Recruiter level candidates must have three years of employment experience preferably within a staffing/recruiting agency or HR function. Proven track record of strategic customer service.
    • Recruiter level candidates must have two years of employment experience preferably within a staffing/recruiting agency or an HR function. Strong customer service skills.
