Description

We are looking for exceptional, innovative researchers to join our team at Emory School of Medicine for development of computational algorithms for identification of immunogenic candidates as well as development of novel platform for analysis of single cell genomics, epigenomics and proteomics data.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The candidate will have the unique opportunity to work with our team of experimental and computational biologists working in the exciting field of computational systems biology and single cell omics in a highly interdisciplinary environment.
  • Collects, compiles and analyzes data and/or statistics.
  • Maintains databases and records and generates reports related to analysis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of experience in compiling and analyzing data OR a bachelor's degree. 
  • Successful candidates should have Bachelor's or Master’s degree with major focus in the area of Computational Biology/ Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Biochemistry/ Mathematics/ Engineering/ Physics or Statistics.
  • Candidates are required to have strong background in algorithms and statistics, data management and mining, and machine learning.
  • Candidates should have excellent programming skills and experience in C/ C++/ Java/ Perl/ Python and R.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home temporarily during the COVID-19 pandemic, with intent to return to an Emory University location in the future.  Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
