The scientist will process and analyze of raw lipidomics and metabolomics data using select mass spectrometry softwares and statistics packages, such as R, SPSS, and others. Subsequent to data analysis, the scientist will deliver data and detailed reports to clients. Experience in the analysis of raw mass spectrometry data, operation of associated softwares, and statistics is essential to the role. The scientist will demonstrate knowledge of research and experimental platforms in the field of lipidomics and metabolomics, designing and interpreting results, and aide in the development of automated approaches to improve the efficiency of the data processing workflow. The scientist will demonstrate responsibility through management of scientific projects by applying advanced knowledge, skills, and input necessary for protocol development. The successful candidate will work well independently as well as in collaboration with other scientists within the core. Scientist will facilitate some training aspects of other team members.
