Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Develops, manages, reviews, and communicates policies and procedures for isolation and quarantine for Emory Campus Life.
  • Oversees check-in, check-out, and wrap-around support services such as emotional support and dining, emergency protocols, educational and information documents and resources, etc.
  • Oversees, educates, and supports the Isolation and Quarantine Coordinators (IQ coordinators).
  • Manages the daily and on-call schedule of the IQ coordinators.
  • Develops and administers training for coordinators on tracking systems and data collection (Excel, REDCap, Microsoft Forms, etc.).
  • Handles onboarding of coordinators and support staff.
  • Attends weekly meetings with Student Health Services and IQ staff, IQ staff alone, and other meetings as designated.
  • Liaises with the Student Health and Residence Life Directors as needed.
  • Liaises with Campus Life housing, dining and residence life directors, and hotel management.
  • Coordinates with Student Health Services with regards to procedures, process and overall support for students.
  • Coordinates the IQ University Partners Working Group including academic partners.
  • Manages hotel rosters.
  • Manages key indicator data which are shared with leadership (number of students in the hotel, breakdown of isolation and quarantine number of students who enter and exit each day, etc).
  • Oversees Student Satisfaction survey data compilation and presentation.
  • Updates policies and procedures as changes arise. 
  • Performs other related duties as required.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree and three years of experience in medical settings, public health, or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A registered nurse or Master of Public Health (MPH) is preferred.

 

THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE AFTER HOURS AND WEEKEND WORK AS NEEDED.

 

THIS IS A BENEFITS ELIGIBLE, TIME LIMITED ONE YEAR APPOINTMENT.

 

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
