Description

The Research Administrative Coordinator assists in coordinating routine activities associated with a research project to include data maintenance, grant expenditure adherence, project evaluation, meeting scheduling, research subject interfacing, light clerical duties and tracking of costs related to supplies and equipment.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

  • May review literature for related research developments and techniques, compile findings and generate reports.
  • May serve as project liaison to other departments, outside organizations, government agencies and product representatives.
  • May supervise other staff.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science discipline, business management, or related field OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Note: An approved CAS Exception is required for anyone who is charged to a federal grant or contract under this job code.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in science discipline is not required.
  • Experience in managing database and in education and training preferred.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
