JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Associate Director of IT Infrastructure and Security is responsible the IT infrastructure of The Carter Center, which includes on premise networking in Atlanta, Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, and IT security. This person will directly supervises network and security engineers in Atlanta and provides design guidance and thought leadership on infrastructure and security issues for The Carter Center as a whole. This position requires a deep understanding of networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems. It also requires a deep understanding of the Azure cloud ecosystem. Other related technologies include SonicWall, Aruba, Meraki, and HP. Due to the travel locations, Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) may be required.
