The Bou-Nader lab is seeking a highly motivated research specialist to join our team to understand how RNA interacts with proteins to control gene expression. The successful candidate will be in charge of purifying recombinant proteins using several chromatography steps and measuring their binding or activities on RNA using a combination of electrophoresis and fluorescence assays.  They will also have the opportunity to perform mutagenesis to define the functional consequence of specific protein residues on activity to understand fundamental mechanisms important for gene regulation in human health and diseases.
