JOB DESCRIPTION: - Supports the safe and efficient operation of University Centrifugal Chillers (up to 2000 tons) and other equipment associated with the chiller plants in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards. - Monitors and helps to troubleshoots the chiller management system that controls the chilled water equipment serving the campus. - Supports the monitoring and maintenance of cooling tower water treatment controllers and associated equipment. - Performs daily rounds to inspect the chiller equipment. - Supports the Sampling and testing of the chemicals as necessary to maintain correct water chemistry for systems. - Works...
